Hotrod Roadster Pickup Project – Rodding USA Magazine

Not all automotive publications are created equal but we’ve been fans of Rodding USA since the beginning. So of course we were more than happy when Lone Wolf Speed and Customs LLC was asked to be a part of their Hotrod Roadster Pickup Project. With project partners that include B&M Performance, Brookville Roadster, Quick Fuel Technology, FlowKooler and our good buddy Rob from Bonzer Customs (to name just a few), we’re in pretty good company.

The builds progress in chronicled in each bi-monthly publication of Rodding USA. We’re several months in but there’s still plenty left to do!

This 1967 Mustang came to us on a trailer and in many boxes. Like many projects, work had been started years ago by others and never finished. Adding to the challenge was the fact that much of the work that had been done, had not been done correctly. After many hours over a 10month period we were thrilled to present the finished project to it’s owner. He dubbed her “Purple Haze”  and she’s a regular on the local car show circuit.

Second Skin Spectrum  spray soundproofing .

We removed the wheels , exhaust and driveshaft. We took great care to ensure that the coating was applied everywhere needed and not where it wasn’t needed. We sprayed 5 coats of Spectrum Damplifier and the results were amazing!

We made quite a few modifications and upgrades to this 1957 Chevy Sedan Delivery. We installed Vintage Air A/C, a fuel injection system and this 29 gallon aluminum fuel tank. While we were at it, we added a new storage compartment on top of the tank.
